I/O ActiveX Demo Application

Select the port to be opened and click on "Open".
Type in data to be written to the port and then click on "WriteString".
Changes in status generate events which are listed in the bottom window.
You can also read data from the port by clicking on the "read from port" button.
You can use the control for serial or parallel I/O.
The "Status by Polling" reads the status function on a timed basis.

The IO demo is part of the demo download of the I/O ActiveX control. You can use it to test I/O from PC to device or PC to PC(serial).
